Welcome
Welcome to the website of the 2008 edition of Molecular Mechanisms in Neuroscience. This 5th edition follows in a successful series that alternates between Rome (“Accademia dei Lincei”) and Milan (“State University”). This meeting has now come to be considered almost a tradition for Italian Neuroscience, providing an informal platform where young students and postdoctoral fellows can interact with more experienced and famous neuroscientists.
The Scientific Programme follows a format that has been consolidated in previous editions, consisting of a series of Plenary Lectures and Symposia focused on the four major Neuroscience areas: Genomics, Development, Degeneration, and Plasticity. Each Symposium will consist of two lectures from invited speakers and three contributions selected from the abstracts submitted by the participants. There is also ample space for poster presentations.
The participation of young researchers is particularly encouraged.
Venue
The meeting will be held at the Aula Magna and Cloisters of the Milan State University.
